The OMEGA – 20mm Spliced Sling with a low friction ring insert is a versatile solution for modern arborist rigging. Designed as a lighter alternative to traditional rigging blocks, it’s ideal for lowering, redirecting, or controlling loads — without the bulk or weight of heavier hardware. While not intended to replace blocks where continuous adjustment or free-running under load is required, its smart design offers exceptional strength, smooth handling, and reliability in static rigging setups.

The friction ring, crafted from high-grade engineered aluminium, is hard-anodised for an ultra-smooth, low-friction surface. A deep rope groove protects the rigging line, keeping it securely positioned and reducing wear.

Each ring is spliced directly into STEIN’s OMEGA rigging line, built with a 32-plait polyester sheath for abrasion resistance and a braided high-tenacity core that delivers outstanding strength and durability. The torque-balanced construction prevents twist, while the UV-resistant polyester and supple braid ensure smooth running through rigging hardware and effortless handling in the field.
