Silky Pocket Boy Folding Saws – Compact, Powerful, and Versatile
The Silky PocketBoy Folding Saws are a must-have for gardeners, outdoor enthusiasts, and professionals alike. Compact enough to fit in your pocket yet powerful enough to handle tough cutting jobs, these saws are designed with precision, durability, and user comfort in mind.
Available in 4 distinctive colors to signify different tooth sizes and blade shapes, the PocketBoy saws are engineered to cut on the pull stroke for smooth, effortless cutting. The blades are hollow-ground, reducing friction and allowing for faster, easier cutting strokes.
Key Features:
- Advanced Tooth Design (Mirai-Me):
Silky’s unique non-set Mirai-Me tooth style creates exceptionally smooth cuts, reducing the risk of water and bacteria entering the wood. This makes the PocketBoy not only efficient but also tree-friendly, minimizing the risk of infection after pruning. - Engineered for Smooth Cutting:
The teeth are the thickest part of the blade, ensuring a wider cut path. This prevents the blade from jamming and allows for reduced friction on the return stroke, making cutting easier and more efficient. - High-Quality Materials:
The blades are crafted from high-carbon SK4 steel, offering a perfect balance of strength and flexibility. A chrome or nickel coating protects against rust and resin buildup, ensuring long-lasting performance. - Adjustable Blade Angles:
Two blade angle settings provide versatility. The standard angle is perfect for most tasks, while the second angle allows for flush cuts or easier access when branches obstruct your cutting path. - Ergonomic Rubber Handle (GOM):
The specially designed rubber handle absorbs vibrations, providing a firm, comfortable grip even in wet conditions.
Interchangeable and Replaceable Parts:
Every part of the Silky PocketBoy is replaceable, ensuring your saw lasts for years to come. With four tooth sizes available, you can customize your saw for different tasks. For example:
- Large Teeth: Ideal for general pruning and larger limbs.
- Medium Teeth: Perfect for fine carpentry or cutting bamboo.
The PocketBoy saws are available in two blade lengths: 13 cm and 17 cm, catering to a range of cutting needs. Screws and other components are also replaceable (SKU 121-01), making maintenance straightforward.

Re Pocket Boy 130mm (Curved)
“Incredibly surprised how well your smallest folding saw performs… even on larger dry branches
As mentioned, I got the 130mm Pocket Boy for bushwalking and camping.. mainly for kindling.
I’ve always gotten the large tooth blades, and was apprehensive if they’d be awkward on dry branches.
Not at all. Cuts like the timber is still green. Brilliant little saw.” – Cheers Pete

“With a saw and a knife in the pocket of my “dog jacket” I’m ending up with one piece of fatwood every day! I saw it down on the way up to our view point, when up I sit down and carve it clean while the doggies kill some sticks. Soon I’m able to use fatwood as firewood”
