This popular friction hitch Sterling RIT 9mm Eye to Eye 36″ is quite popular amongst professional arborists. The prusik has two sewn spliced eyes, which fit snugly over many carabiners, keeping everything nice and tidy. RIT (Right in Trees) is constructed of a polyester/Aramid cover, with a polyster core. The polyester/Aramid cover give it great heat tolerance, high abrasion resistance, and nice gripping features.
